Original artwork description
This mixed media painting is part of an ongoing series of paintings inspired by my love and the wonder of trees. I love the sounds of the branches and leaves moving in the breeze and their cool shade on hot sunny days. Science has now discovered, that below ground, trees have an ability to communicate complex information to eachother through a silent language. They are also able help each other. They connect to each other through their root systems by growing fungal networks. Sometimes they even intertwine their roots.
This artwork has been created on a box canvas and has painted white sides. It is signed on the back and the sides and fitted with chord so all ready to hang.
