Original Watercolour Painting
1,400 feet above sea-level the Bridestones stand on the moors to the east of Todmorden. a half mile long escarpment of Millstone Grit outcrops. Millstone Grit comprises thirty four individually named sandstones. You can get lost walking among the ancient stones, eroded into weird shapes. There is always something new to paint here, new vistas glimpsed, new light, new shadows, a place of mystery and surprise.
The watercolour painting is unframed on heavy weight archival paper
