The Ripples from our Wake, by Alanah Jarvis
This painting pays tribute to and acknowledges the Australia’s First People throughout Australia and their continuing connection to land, sea and community.
Like the wake from a boat on the water, our past stays behind us, but the decisions made in that time can affect the planet, people and animals for generations to come. These decisions are like ripples rolling away from the point where they are made.
The edges of this painting have been painted to ensure no exposed canvas is seen and to create a faux frame. If you like this painting, but its not perfect for you like the size, contact me to arrange a commission!
