Monochromatic study in pure Watercolor 15,5 h x 12,5 w ( 39x32 cm) of the marble sculptural group by the Italian Baroque Master G. L. Bernini : My personal view of the Rape of Proserpina. My rendition was focused on the impression that Pluto `s hands make on Proserpina`s leg and body, in particular the dynamic representation of the overwhelming grasps between the 2 figures.
This piece is on 300 gsm watercolor paper with deckled edges and a white border; Made in Studio 2018.
