This painting is part of my series exploring beauty—how it shows up in nature, in the body, and in the space between the two. I’ve always been drawn to the way flowers and figures can echo each other: soft, layered, vulnerable, but also powerful.

The poppies in this piece feel alive and present, not just as decoration but as part of the figure’s story. They both reveal and conceal, creating a balance between intimacy and mystery. Through this work, I seek to evoke a sense of reverence for the sensual and the ephemeral. It is a meditation on softness as strength, on beauty that is both bold and quiet, fleeting and timeless.
