Cap Sizun, Brittany, France.

I love painting the ruggedness of this Breton coast. The rocky islets seem like creatures petrified by time, massive and immobile, lying by the water's edge, their flanks battered by the relentless waves. Thus, these rock formations become not only a geological landscape but also a theater of imagination, where nature and myths meet.

The white finish of the sides of the canvas allows, if you wish, a hanging without a frame.

Materials used:

This painting is painted with professional grade oil colors on a primed canvas. I prepare myself my canvases to create a texture specific to my painting needs and to insure them maximum longevity.
