Original artwork description

“The longer you look at an object, the more abstract it becomes, and, ironically, the more real.” Lucian Freud.

Ta is a best selling Thai artist who has gained international recognition. Her figurative style is magically intertwined with soft colours, shapes and inventive subjects. The surrealist movement influences her slightly cuboid style. Her well-balanced paintings are emotional and vibrant and feature curvaceous people, figures featuring eggs for their faces and curious jazz playing characters, drawing inspiration from Picasso, Lowry & Dali but most of all her vivid imagination.

A review I’m very proud of; ’Goddess under the moonlight' is my third painting by Ta. When I opened the tube in which she came and released her, 'The Goddess' was more beautiful than I had expected. The subtlety of colour that Ta achieves in the paintings that spring from her fertile imagination are a delight. This coupled with excellent communication and packing makes the whole experience of buying from Ta so easy. I can't wait for 'The Goddess' to be framed and see her gracing a wall in the room in which she will live.
