Blue is my favourite colour. This abstract painting was inspired by a view I had in my office in Newcastle. Doors and windows are symbolic of opportunity. The varying shades of blue create depth and a sense of calm momentum, as if each opening leads to another possibility. I love the idea that each person that looks at this painting will have their own "view" through their window. The doorway leads to a unique place for every individual.
