A little boy sitting on a wharf, watching some pelicans and seagulls. The weather is pleasant , a lovely summer day, the boy is off school. The birds seem perfectly comfortable with the proximity of the boy .A vision of young humanity and nature living in respect and harmony, together.
Will he really become an ornithologist , or perhaps a vet? I don't know , and he doesn't know either, at this time. But I think he may remember for many years ,and look back on this afternoon ,with quiet pleasure and appreciation.
