I went to the city of Matsumoto almost 10 years ago and just by the accident, without any research before the trip, stumbled across the unique old bookshop that is a small copy of the castle Matsumoto.
Years went by and the memories of that trip became hazy.
But one day I’ve found the photos from that place and decided to revive those moments. The old bookshop remained in the past, there is a souvenir shop in that house now.
I wanted this distant moment to feel full of live, volume and emotions.
There is always a story behind the painting and this story is cosy, warm and deep.
