The Measured Pause (2025)Mixed-media painting
by Amrish Malvankar

Original artwork description

The Measured Pause - A moment suspended between motion and stillness, where form learns to breathe.

In this work, I sought to capture that fleeting space between intention and reflection, a pause that allows structure to find its breath. The restrained palette and measured composition are deliberate, evoking the architecture of calm. Each fragment interacts like a note held just long enough to let silence complete the rhythm. For me, The Measured Pause represents not an end or a beginning, but the continuity of thought, a stillness shaped by motion.
