Sophia is a warm, elongated painting in acrylic on cotton canvas stretched over wood.

A disproportionately lanky woman in a long tunic and chasuble dotted with round copper motifs in ribbed relief, the blonde Sophia evokes the beauty and wisdom of a bygone era.

On the left-hand side, a few flowers float on an olive-green woven wall. The right-hand panel is an aged copper-red wood panel.

The floor is worked with a knife in titanium white and light linen.
