The Magic of Montserrat (2025)Watercolour

£298

There are places in the world where landscape seems woven from enchantment itself — as if the spirit of the earth were quietly breathing through rock, sky, and air. The Magic of Montserrat was born from such a moment: when I stood before the ancient peaks and felt the silent poetry of this extraordinary place unfold.
Montserrat — the “saw‑toothed” mountain near Barcelona — rises with sculptural grandeur, its jagged forms shaped by millennia of wind and earth, evoking both awe and reverence.
In this work, I sought to capture not just the forms of the landscape but the breath between them — the luminous space where air and light mingle, and the mountains seem to whisper their timeless tales.
Through delicate washes of watercolour on Saunders Waterford paper, the scene becomes more than a view: it becomes a living impression of magic that feels as if it has always been here.
