This view of New York City shows the shining light of the city reflecting on the freshly rained pavement of the streets. The unique architecture of the city is featured in this work.
The artist uses special technique that creates rich textures of oil paint which enliven this work. Brilliant paints are used in this work, including Lapis Lazuli that is made of semi-precious gems.
High grade, quality pigments are used. Advanced technique of layering and glazing implemented to achieve a desired effect. Varnished for protection and luminosity. The technique is a mix of traditional practices by Masters and expanded further by modern interpretation.
