Original artwork description:

“The Last Leaf” was created in a moment of stillness and reduction. Four earthen vessels stand in quiet balance, and at the center, a single green leaf on a thin branch – fragile, almost incidental. While painting, I kept thinking about transience, about what remains when everything else fades. That one leaf became a symbol for me: of what endures – perhaps memory, perhaps hope.

Muted tones, soft light, and a calm composition create a contemplative atmosphere. Each object stands on its own, yet they relate to each other in silence. The title points not only to the leaf but also to a mindset: focusing on what truly matters, allowing emptiness to speak.

For the viewer, this piece can offer a moment of pause – a quiet counterpoint to the noise of everyday life. It invites reflection, presence, and perhaps even the discovery of one’s own “last leaf” – that which quietly endures.
