She climbed up the mountain trail where the air smelled of pine and chill. Autumn had already taken over, the maples blazed with fiery leaves, as if bidding farewell to summer with one last passionate kiss.
At the summit, a lake opened before her, calm as the breath of silence itself. Its surface reflected the mountains and the sky, and it seemed that autumn was gazing at her own reflection- proud, vivid, and fleeting.
She touched the water with her hand, and the colors of her heart came alive- turquoise depths, crimson trees, rose-lavender peaks.
In that moment, she understood: everything passes, but beauty lives in the very instant you are able to feel it.
