In crafting this piece, I reveled in the vibrant chaos of expressionism infused with a dash of pop art flair. The vivid orange tones of the subject's hair contrast strikingly with the monochrome collage background, symbolizing a fusion of boldness and complexity. This artwork represents the dynamic interplay of identity and media, inviting viewers to reflect on how external influences shape our self-perception. I experiments with complex textures–created through layering various mediums–to encourage curiosity in the viewer about what lies beneath.
Magazines were used to create the painting, but the painting was written in canvas withoil paints.
