Oh, Sun,
You’re the one who brings us colour and fun,
Shaping the way we live each day,
Lighting the sky in your golden way.
I remember you shining so clear,
Like a beacon up there, always near.
But in 2024, planes filled the air,
Dropping things that dimmed your glare.
The world turned dull, grey, and cold,
Leaving us feeling tired and old.
Colours don’t cheer us up like before—
Is there something more? Some hidden score?
We just want you back, dear Sun,
So colour can once again bring us fun.
