One of a series of paintings I have done of this view. In the foreground is a hedgerow of wild flowers and in the distance a field drawing the eye to the Forth Estuary where the Isle of May is on the horizon.
I love the wildness of the flowers and their movement in contrast to the quietness of the field and Estuary and sky. These are the things I wanted to communicate. The wonderful Isle of May is visible from may seaside places in beautiful Fife where I have a studio.
This is quite a large painting and will make a good focal point in a room.
