Original artwork description
We try to visit Cornwall every few years and the north coast is a favourite place. A few years ago we stayed in an apartment in Carbis Bay and visited St Ives to meet up with friends who were staying there. I made this pen sketch of the the Island (although it is not actually an island) from the beach and added the paint later.
Materials used:
Windsor & Newton artist quality watercolours (Cobalt Blue, Light Red, Raw Siena) on Saunders Waterford 140lb paper.
