"The Inner Circle" (The Inviolable Reserve Series)
This painting is part of my new series, "The Inviolable Reserve," which explores themes of personal space, solitude, and inner peace. The focus is on the concept of creating a sacred, inviolable space around our innermost essence—our "inner pearl."
Inspiration came from reflections on the necessity of protecting one’s true self from the hustle and bustle of the outside world. The human figure, surrounded by silent goose-guardians, symbolizes this "inner circle" of protection.
I used only acrylic paints on canvas to convey this idea. The quick drying time of acrylic allowed me to work in an expressive manner, creating a multilayered texture and dynamic brushwork. The muted tones of blue, gray, and gold enhance the sense of calm and contemplation.
Thanks to its composition and subdued palette, this painting will become a centerpiece for a living room or bedroom, adding an atmosphere of tranquility and profound meaning.
