This painting was created during the All-Ukrainian Plein Air dedicated to the memory of the renowned Ukrainian artist Opanas Zalyvakha in Bukovel.

One of the most memorable experiences of the plein air was the opportunity to paint in Hutsul Land Park, where I discovered this charming hunter's cabin nestled among towering spruce trees. Surrounded by the deep green forest, the small wooden house seemed mysterious and timeless, as if it had been quietly watching over the mountains for generations.

While I was painting from life, a cat wandered onto the porch and became part of the scene. I couldn't resist including this curious little visitor in the composition, as it perfectly captured the peaceful atmosphere of the place.

Created entirely on location, this artwork reflects the beauty of the Ukrainian Carpathians, the tranquility of nature, and the authentic character of traditional mountain architecture. It is not only a landscape but also a memory of a special artistic journey and a moment of quiet connection with nature.
