This evocative view depicts the hills in the Scottish Borders, above the village of Eddleston. I cannot remember the last time I felt quite so content as I did on that walk on that hot summer's morning. I walked for hours without meeting a soul. The air was thick with nectar and pine and the gentle hum of sheep. The work is on a canvas board and is therefore ideal for framing.
