This linoprint is printed onto a black, slightly pearlescent effect heavyweight card called Black Russian (290gsm) from Fabriano which is lightfast and has high colour stability in addition to being acid free. The card is quite environmentally friendly, produced without wood and using hydro-power.

Printed onto Fabriano 290gsm pearlescent black Russian cardstock (lightfast pigment and acid free), Cranfield Gold ink, Caligo safe ink (oil based).

Paper sized : 50 cm x 70 cm (19.6 inches x 27.5 inches)

My linocuts are handmade from start to finish, hand carved, rolled and handprinted, as in the nature of linoprints and the handmade process they may have small variations. This I feel is part of the charm of printmaking and makes each print into both a unique artwork.
