THE GULF IN SHADES (STUDIO 9) is a shot from the series "Tuscany waves" from my collection TUSCANY: LAND OF SOUL.
This abstract shot was taken in the Gulf of Follonica on a slightly cloudy spring day. The soft lights of the early morning lent delicate pastel shades to the sky and sea, creating an almost dreamlike atmosphere in one of the most beautiful stretches of sea in Tuscany.
The Gulf of Follonica (Tyrrhenian sea) is a long sandy creek that develops for several kilometers between the Promontory of Piombino and Punta Ala. This stretch of sea is one of the most beautiful on the Tuscan coast because it is always clear and calm.
