THE GULF IN SHADES (STUDIO 3) is a shot from the series "Tuscany waves" from my collection TUSCANY: LAND OF SOUL.

This abstract shot was taken over the Gulf of Follonica in the early hours of a slightly cloudy late spring day. The soft tones and delicate pastel shades give the photo a sense of silence and absolute tranquility.
The image captures a moment, an almost interminable instant of deep relaxation, and the barely sketched, almost imperceptible horizon makes this stretch of sea incredibly dreamlike, one of the most beautiful in Tuscany and all of Italy.
