'By 2050, our oceans will be filled with plastics more than fishes'- This intimidating statement made me work on this artwork.
A unique mixed media wall sculptural artwork, done on circular canvas with many plastic bottles cut and treated in different levels of temperature to get unique texture to fit the design.
Project - 'For the planet' :
Recycled artworks I started doing since 3 years, after a pledge to work for a greener planet. All the plastic bottles with different textures are upcycled to get unique textures on my artworks. I decided to work with oceanlife theme, since they are most affected due to plastic pollution. In each of my works, the texture is individually cut and painted from discarded plastic bottles. Its my way of saving our planet. So buying one of my original works from this series, you are not only supporting art but also supporting a good cause.
The artwork is done on canvas and the texture which is 100% made from upcycled plastic trash, is assembled on to it. The art will come framed. It will be signed on side and back and certificate of authenticity will be attached
