"The Golfer" — from the *Sport* series* (2015) Bronze sculpture by Veaceslav Jiglitski

A contemporary figurative bronze of a woman at the top of her golf swing, club raised high and body turned through the stroke, weight rolling onto one side in a moment of coiled motion. The artist renders the female form in full, generous volumes, yet captures all the rhythm and power of the swing — the rotation of the torso, the lifted arms, the poised follow-through. A deep, dark patina flows across the polished body, set off by the fine golden club that carries the eye to the height of the arc. A study of athletic grace and concentration held in a single sweeping gesture.

"The Golfer" completes the limited-edition *Sport* series of three works — a rower, a tennis player, and a golfer — each a study of the athletic female figure. Cast in bronze using the lost-wax method and mounted on an integrated bronze base. Signed by the artist and accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity.
