Original artwork description:

This painting portrays two girl friends, often deemed as "black sheep" in society simply because we relish dressing stylishly. It also serves as a wistful journey into my youth, where my friend Tania and I found ourselves in a comparable situation, proudly embracing our distinctive fashion sense. This artwork encapsulates the spirit of those carefree days and boldly confronts societal norms, rejoicing in the delight of self-expression through fashion. The project embodies my mission: finding and promoting positivity in any situation. My unwavering spirit empowers me to face adversity with resilience. The visage of the Mona Lisa is integral to each composition, as no other face suffices for these reasons: symbolizing the feminine archetype, belonging to everyone, originating from a distinct era for a compelling effect, and serving as my avatar, exploring my life narratives. Stability eludes me as everything constantly evolves. Circumstances shift, moods fluctuate, and I persistently self-evolve, adapting to the ever-changing world. In this series, I blend emotional and aesthetic qualities from different eras, transcending the ordinary to offer constructive experiences. Each painting in the series is a story, akin to episodes in a TV series, where I'm the viewer, creator, cinematographer, and protagonist. I've come to understand that my present state profoundly shapes my future, empowering me to resist negativity and thwart pain's dominion.
