Artwork description
‘Sakura I’ is a commission piece made for a high end producer of product labels, to showcase their packaging and label printing capabilities.
The brief was to design artwork for an imaginary brand of Japanese Matcha Tea.
I incorporated the Japanese instrument the sakura (the cherry blossom), which symbolises renewal, fragility and mortality.
This polymere etching is hand pulled in a limited edition of 15 copies on 300 grams Hahnemühle etching paper.

paper size: 25 cm x 33 cm (10 X 13 inches)
Each print is numbered and signed, and comes with a Certificate of Authenticity. It ships without a frame.
