Original artwork description
This artwork was inspired by a trip to the historic race circuit at Le Mans, deep in the heart of France. Here is a beautifully painted view of the sleepy, typical French village that was home for the week, during the heat of a summer visit. The artwork is stylised in shades of Siena, sepia and ochre which give the painting a nostalgic, timeless quality . This could almost be any cosy, safe rural village in France - untouched by time and steeped in history.
The painting is presented in a simple white wooden frame, ready to hang.
Overall dimension 42 x 32 inches including the thin frame.
