In creating this vibrant cityscape, I sought to capture the dynamic essence of New York City, merging impressionism with semi-abstract styles to reflect both its timeless grace and perpetual motion. The swirling oils and bold, sweeping strokes infuse the canvas with life, embodying the city's ceaseless energy and iconic architecture. This piece is an homage to resilience and dreams, inviting the viewer to feel the pulse and possibilities of urban life through every hue and line. This is large oil painting of the New York changing skyline. The new Freedom Tower is shining where once stood the Twin Towers. I love the name of the new building and wanted to show it in all it's glory. I have painted the bridge in a bright red symbolising life. The New York skyline has a mixture of buildings and with the sun setting behind it looks amazing. New York is a wonderful city!
