The forest dances with the heartbeat of our feet as they traverse the ground upon which they walk. The tree’s limbs and fingers of leaves reach out inviting us to play among them. They welcome us home…to nature, to ourselves, to our one shared world. The light pours in through the canopy of rooted tree beings, dappling the warmth of sunlight upon the trail. We walk with our arms outstretched as if to receive them, to accept their invitation to walk among them, to share the air, to breathe with them, to coexist in symbiosis and loving nourishing harmony. How desperately we need them, and how desperately they need us to nurture them. We are beings of the same planet. Let us love them as children, as brethren, and as elders, for they are our teachers.

Original Oil painting applied with brushes on archival canvas. Painting is wrapped and painted around the sides, and stretched on heavy-duty stretcher bars. Painting measures 30" x 48" x 1.5." An archival varnish has been applied to accentuate the vibrancy of colors and help protect the original painting.
