About the Process:
This linocut was created using the reduction technique, where each layer of colour is carved and printed from the same lino block. Once a layer is complete, it’s cut away — meaning there’s no going back, and no reprints can ever be made.
Every mark is carved by hand, and each stage of inking and pressing is done with care, making every print a one-of-a-kind piece of original art. Subtle variations in colour and texture are part of the charm — a reminder of the slow, thoughtful process behind each impression.
