- The Entrance to Rye Harbour
Artwork description
I've always tried to live within easy reach of a sea or ocean. There is something about walking on a beach - the sand beneath my feet that I find restorative and inspiring. This is from my ongoing series 'Son of a Beach, started in 2015 with an exhibition in Majorda, Goa and currently unfinished. This execution shot from the Nature Reserve in Rye Harbour, East Sussex UK in 2019. Camber Sands can be seen about a third of the way up the image on the left, and Dungeness power station can faintly be seen at the ned of the Sands on the horizon line.
Materials used:
Epson fine art inks on 308 gsm Hahnemule Photorag
Details:
- Photograph on Paper
