Dhol has an important place in Punjabi folk music. In Bhangra (a form of Punjabi dance), dhol adds instant energy - so much that the Dholi himself is compelled to dance along with the beat. When you hear the dhol being played, you feel energy, happiness and colours everywhere.
I did it with oil on canvas and used bright colours.
