With this painting I want to highlight the futility of following fashions and trends, also because the satisfaction we get from doing so is short, it is ephemeral. It doesn't take much to immediately want something else, creating an unhealthy dissatisfaction, a perennial, subtle unhappiness that slowly pervades us. We are not meant to be copies of others, or to do what others dictate to us. Each of us is unique, just follow his inner voice, and little by little he will realize that this is essential to being happy and satisfied.
