In The Divided Man, Roman Sedlák presents a hauntingly elegant figure caught in the act of becoming — or unraveling. Constructed through a series of layered, rib-like forms, the body appears both architectural and organic, as though it were formed from a series of precise incisions or the echoes of past selves.

Rendered in cool grayscale against a void-like black background, the figure seems to emerge from darkness while simultaneously dissolving into it. The interplay of shadow and structure creates a rhythm of repetition that hints at themes of fragmentation, identity, and transformation.
