This work captures the solemn and spiritual essence of a sacred space, using black and white digital photography to enhance the play of light and shadow among the Gothic architecture. The intention is to evoke an intimate and profound reflection, creating a bridge between the visible and the invisible, the earthly and the divine. The choice of black and white adds a touch of eternity and universality, making this work a meaningful addition to any environment, inviting contemplation and tranquillity.
There are several publications and photographic exhibitions around Italy. Just to name a few of the most important: in 2019 he published The colors of Japan published by Erga, a photographic project that tells the story of his trip to Japan and in the same year he exhibited at the Consulate General of Japan the photographic exhibition with an extract of the photographs from the book. In 2020 the success with the photographic exhibition “I Colori del Giappone” at the Edoardo Chiossone Oriental Art Museum in Genoa.
Juror in the photography contest Wiki Loves Monuments with Wikimedia Italia for the Abruzzo Region in the 2019 and 2020 editions. In May 2021, also thanks to the pandemic that kept him from his long trips, he published “I Colori di Genova” (Erga Edizioni), a photography book that tells the beauties of his beloved city. In June 2022 he published his third photography book, “Venezia colori e parole del silenzio” (Erga Edizioni), a photo reportage that tells the story of Venice as it had never been seen before, deserted in the last lockdown.
In December 2023 he received the "Genoa Talent Award 2023" from the Mayor of Genoa Marco Bucci on the proposal of the Genoa Talent Committee of the Municipality of Genoa.
