The Current of the Way was inspired by the quiet rhythm of the river and the sense of flow that exists in both nature and life. Watching the water move gently along the shore, I was reminded of how everything follows its own path—unforced, continuous, and ever-changing.
The distant mountains and soft sky create a feeling of stillness, while the textured foreground and subtle presence of boats suggest life within the landscape. I was interested in capturing this balance between movement and calm—between what flows and what remains.
Rather than focusing on exact details, I approached the painting intuitively, allowing each brushstroke to follow its own direction, much like the current itself. This piece reflects a personal meditation on letting go, trusting the process, and finding harmony within the natural flow of things.
