I’d been away from my easel for nearly a week, when a particular conversation resulted in this madcap piece. I can’t really explain it, and frankly had no idea what I as going to paint when I sat down in front of a blank canvas. Well; here we have it; bold, bright buds. Piling on the paint more than I normally do, seemed to suit my mood. This canvas is painted around the edges so the painting can be hung, unframed.
