Original artwork description
A close up painting of three Hydrangeas blooms, focusing on the flower heads.
Hydrangea is derived from Greek and means ‘water vessel’ in reference to the shape of its seed capsules. For this painting, just for fun, I chose the title based on the names given by the nail polish Essie for a shade similar to the one we have here.
Typically the flowerheads contain two types of flowers: small non-showy flowers in the center or interior of the flowerhead, and large, showy flowers with large colourful sepals and I made these the focus of my painting.
One of the photos shows how it would look with a pass-partout although it was a make shift one, just to give you an idea.
I'll send this painting in a reinforced envelope using the Post with a tracking number
