The Cocoon is a one of a kind unique Abstract sculpture that was heavily influenced by my woodland surroundings. The Cocoon shape is taken from that of a butterflies cocoon. The smooth lines, curves and symmetry of the sculpture is a resemblance of how a Cocoon may look from abstract perspective. The Cocoon was carved with eternal life and nature in mind. The idea behind the Cocoon is that it represents the eternal life that is nature, it may die back in the winter but re grows in the spring in a constant cycle of life.
