The description of this large oil on canvas is depicting a street scene in New York. The Chrysler Building features among the other skyscrapers with a busy road full of yellow cabs. These cabs are showing in the foreground. The streets of New York are showing the bustling people and the street life. I painted this scene after falling in love with the city and the amazing architecture. The colour and pace of city life is captured here in full colour. It is a large painting on stretched canvas and is strung ready to hang. It is one of a series of New York paintings which I completed when I returned to England.
