Original artwork description
This is an original oil painting of a black cat sitting on a rooftop. It’s very similar to my previous work, ‘Cat on the Roof’, but the difference this time is that it’s at sunset. I have a black cat and I love him to bits, so painting cats is always a good subject for me. I particularly like this simple image because it makes me wonder what the cat is thinking, what he can see from up there and what he’s going to do next.
This painting has been produced using artist grade oil paint on canvas. A coat of professional grade art varnish has been applied to optimise the colour and protect the painting from dust, UV light and other environmental factors. The painting is provided in a complimentary handmade wooden frame which is painted white and fitted with picture wire, ready to hang. The painting is signed on the reverse and will be shipped with the Certificate of Authenticity.
The painting measures 8 (H) x 8 (W) inches (approx. 20 x 20 cm).
All paintings are professionally wrapped to ensure they arrive in perfect condition and are shipped with tracking and insurance.
