The Hare is the public transport for faeiries in Ireland. My partner lives a 2 minute walk to the biggest fairy fort in Clare. The motor way had to be designed around it. He never noticed it before until of course we met. I started talking to the faeiries and then outside his house toadstools started growing and we see hares all the time. I painted this painting for him and every time it makes me smile. It's very textured and happy. Tourists come and see the fairy fort lately and we both laugh. Of course I will keep painting hares as I love how they look.
I love how my partner talks about he hares and the fairies to me now. We laugh alot over this piece
