An oil painting of a large Buddleia overflowing a wall in Anstruther, Fife. I love everything about these shrubs. The sight, the smell, and of course the butterflies they attract. I wanted to see if I could communicate the intense purple of the flower, and also the abundance and generosity of the bloom.
