"The Balancing Act" is about more than just the composition, it’s also about finding balance in life, especially as an artist. I painted it in stages, layering geometric shapes and softer curves, letting the bold colors guide me. It’s a mix of structure and spontaneity, like the push and pull I often feel in the studio. Knowing when to keep going and when to step back. The color palette of deep blues, warm oranges, soft purples, creates contrast, but still feels like it all belongs together. The piece draws on my continued fascination of geometric abstraction and cubism, where broken forms and layered shapes suggest movement and hidden connections.

Medium: Acrylic paint and marker on gallery grade canvas.

The artwork has been finished with a gloss varnish to protect against UV and dust.

The artwork was painted on un-stretched Italian cotton canvas, with a 6 cm border left for stretching onto a canvas frame. This artwork is shipped rolled in a tube for safe international delivery and can be affordably stretched at your local framing store.
