I wanted to represent the thirst for knowledge, the desire of a young man to know the good and evil of life. Eager for knowledge, he places his hand on a book, symbol of universal knowledge, which overlooks some white sheets, on which the young man will have to write his future, but the future is not yet written. His enigmatic smile doesn't let us know what he will do with the knowledge he is acquiring.

Gesso primer, acrylics, oil, oil crayon.
