- The Alienation
Original artwork description
This painting is part of the Post-Alienation series, which examines the human figure after the loss of social identity, personal roles, and external markers of self.
The figure appears isolated within a pale, almost erased environment. White dominates the composition, symbolizing absence, silence, and emotional exhaustion, while the vertical red core functions as an exposed inner spine—both vital and vulnerable. The faceless head reinforces anonymity, transforming the figure into a universal presence rather than a portrait.
The lower section dissolves into darker tones and dripping paint, suggesting gravity, instability, and the gradual breakdown of form. Subtle traces of color emerge through the white surface, hinting at suppressed memories and residual emotion beneath an imposed neutrality.
This work reflects not alienation itself, but its aftermath: a state where the individual remains present, yet detached—standing between erasure and persistence.
This is a unique, original artwork from the Post-Alienation series, created for collectors drawn to conceptual, emotionally restrained contemporary figurative painting.
